Wedding Receptions
On entering the building you will see the entrance hall with its Grand Staircase which provide excellent photo opportunities.
Two other possible photo opportunities are just across the road. Christchurch Park and St Lawrence Church.
The Bar (with drinks at club prices), and the Dining Hall with its impressive wood panelling and chandeliers are entered from the main entrance hall.
We are pleased to offer you assistance and advice in creating an event to remember. Our events manager can help you plan your special occasion, exactly the way you dream. Whether you want a live band or disco, balloons or flowers, with 20 years experience in organising events, our manager has many contacts in these industries, that she could recommend.
We are also able to offer a quality catering service. Our menus offer real variety and there is something to suit all tastes and budgets. Whether you opt for a sit down meal or a finger buffet, we will provide professional staff to assist you and your guests. For a formal meal, the hall will seat 90 people comfortably. If a buffet or no dining is required, the hall can accommodate 100.
Our experienced bar staff are also on hand to look after all your guest’s drinks. We have a fully licensed bar available offering club prices and an excellent selection of beers, lagers, spirits and wines.
If you require a master of ceremonies to add a touch of dignity and efficiency to your event, a formally dressed, red coated toastmaster can be arranged for you. Alternatively our Head Waiter/Waitress will be more than happy to assist in order for you to relax and enjoy the occasion.

Special Occasions or Corporate Events
Special Occasions: Charity fund raising, a special birthday celebration or anniversary, Retirement Party, Burns Night, Halloween Night, Baby shower or a Wake, Ipswich Masonic Hall is an ideal venue.
An excellent bar with drinks at club prices, and a beautiful dining room which can be used as a function room, enables us to accommodate up to 90 people seated or 100 people with or without a buffet.
Corporate events: Training Days, Health & Safety or First Aid presentations, or Meetings for between 20 and 50 people can also be accommodated.
